Don't underestimate what your internal conversations do to your faith.

We all have baggage. There is an enemy that "steals, kills and destroys" and he uses the messages and pain from our past to influence us to believe the lies. We play old out-of-date, recordings in our heads, messages which are no longer relevant and are often created by people who didn't know what they were talking about when they blabbed their mouth.
We believed these individuals because we were kids, or they were in a position of authority or a family member, which gave them credibility. We believe the wrong things which come from imperfect, wrong-intentioned humans, when the messages we SHOULD receive, accept and believe are from God. Those old wrong messages are monsters that feed our insecurities and chip away at our self esteem and put cracks in our confidence.
